Strength Workout for WOD 2021

Wednesday 20th October is World Osteoporosis Day 🦴 This debilitating health condition (which affects over 3 million people in the UK alone) weakens our bones, making them fragile & more likely to break - leading to falls, immobility & pain.

One of the crucial ways we can prevent osteoporosis is through regular exercise - in particular weight bearing exercise💪🏻 We lose bone density from age 30 onwards but by using weights we challenge our muscle strength which in turn promotes new bone growth 🦴

Tomorrow @ 12.30 I shall be taking over @getthegloss for an insta live 20 minute strength workout✨ My aim is to show some key exercises which we can do daily to prevent this awful condition as we age & to build bone strength👍
