On October 20, on the occasion of World Osteoporosis Day ( #WorldOsteoporosisDay ), Antimo Moretti , associate professor of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, answered some of our questions on osteoporosis and its clinical implications. In addition to being director of the School of Specialization in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the same university, Moretti is a nationally recognized expert, also thanks to his roles as a member of the board of directors of Siommms (Italian Society of Osteoporosis, Mineral Metabolism and Skeletal Diseases) and member of the working group for the Guidelines on Chronic Spinal Pain, related to osteoporotic fractures. In addition, he contributes to the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF).
