The General Hospital of Valencia, the Hispanic Foundation of Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases (FHOEMO) and Medical Media have organized the photographic exhibition ‘Sin fissuras’, inaugurated today: an initiative that gives voice and visibility to people who live with osteoporosis, showing their experiences, emotions and daily challenges through black and white photography.
The exhibition, with photographs by Jordi Ferrando Arrufat, gathers 16 portraits of patients with osteoporosis, some of them treated in the hospital itself, and aims to raise awareness among the population about a disease that often progresses silently and goes unnoticed until a fracture occurs.
