Nationwide Awareness Program Against Osteoporosis

The ACME Laboratories Ltd., A renowned pharmaceutical company, has successfully organized a massive nationwide awareness campaign on Osteoporosis in observance of World Osteoporosis Day 2025 — marking the first-ever initiative of this scale in Bangladesh.

As part of this program, we conducted 43 scientific seminars in 43 regions across the country, engaging approximately 2,500 doctors from diverse medical disciplines, including Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Physical Medicine & also patients from different regions.

During these sessions, participants discussed new case studies, preventive strategies, updated treatment protocols, and practical dos and don’ts regarding osteoporosis management. In addition to the seminars, we also organized rallies, patient awareness activities, and interactive sessions to promote bone health and disease prevention among the general public.

Furthermore, a dedicated awareness program was also held at The ACME Head Office, focusing on osteoporosis education for our employees, especially those in the aging group. The event was graced by representatives from the Government Employees Hospital of Bangladesh, with Dr. Muhibbur Rahman Rafe, President of the Physical Medicine Department. He delivered an insightful presentation on the causes, prevention, and treatment of osteoporosis.

This extensive initiative reflects our strong commitment to promoting bone health awareness and the prevention of osteoporosis among healthcare professionals and the wider community in Bangladesh.
