On International Osteoporosis Day today, October 20, the Danish Osteoporosis Association announces the three projects that will receive this year's research funding.
The health professional committee of the association has chosen the three studies because they have broad interest in patients with osteoporosis, the studies can be completed within a reasonable time frame, and finally, this year the committee has chosen to prioritize studies that deal with the transition from the hospital sector to primary practice.
The three projects were selected from a strong field of 20 applications distributed across the country.
