The Women Development Cell, NSS, and Department of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy are collaboratively organizing World Osteoporosis Day with various events on the 19th and 20th of October 2023. This initiative aims to raise awareness about osteoporosis, a condition that affects millions of individuals globally, and to educate our students and the wider community on its prevention and management.
Event Details
Date: 19th October 2023 (World Osteoporosis Day)
1. Treasure Hunt: We will organize a fun and engaging treasure hunt within the college premises to involve students actively in the event and promote learning through play. Date: 20th October 2023 (World Osteoporosis Day)
2. Community Awareness Initiatives: Our event will include an awareness program with informative materials, pamphlets, and resources about osteoporosis for the community.
3. Educational Video Release: As part of our efforts to raise awareness, we will release an educational video about osteoporosis for social media posts.
4. Quiz Competition: Following the video release a quiz competition will be held for the CHARUSAT Family members. All winners of the competitive events will be awarded with CASH prize and certificates.
