World Osteoporosis Day Celebration
In the historic former Post Office in Luleå, World Osteoporosis Day was celebrated in Norrbotten.
The program was varied, beginning with music and a performance by the Linedance group Ullstrumpers.
Under the title Bone health with the right drug treatment - for whom, what and when?, senior physician in internal medicine Anna Ramnemark from Umeå lectured. She discussed osteoporosis and gave insight into the benefits of the different drugs and how one should relate to the "package insert". She answered many medical questions from the audience.
