This Monday (20), SOGIMIG joined EMS, the Mater Dei Health Network, and the Minas Gerais School of Medical Sciences in the first manifesto to raise awareness about osteoporosis, a disease that affects approximately 15 million Brazilians. The event took place on Alameda Ezequiel Dias, with the participation of medical students who distributed educational materials and tapioca starch cookies—a symbol of bone fragility—as well as banners with impactful messages, such as "Stop osteoporosis and accelerate prevention." 💬 The goal was to draw attention to the importance of prevention and early diagnosis, which are essential to avoid fractures and ensure a better quality of life for the population.
