The Kosovo Osteoporosis Association organizes the Conference on the occasion of Osteoporosis Day. 20 October 2025
Dear participants, colleagues, representatives of health institutions, on behalf of the Organising Council,
I am pleased to invite you to the activities of World Osteoporosis Day — a day that brings us together to reflect, learn and act on an issue that affects the lives of many of our citizens. Osteoporosis is often a silent disease, but with major consequences on the health and well-being of the individual. Therefore, through this day, we aim to increase public awareness, encourage prevention, healthy nutrition and physical activity, as well as emphasize the essential role of cooperation between health professionals.
The Kosovo Osteoporosis Association, in cooperation with partners and supporting institutions, remains committed to strengthening professional and educational capacities in this field, promoting bone health for all ages and all genders. Let this day be a reminder that prevention begins with our shared knowledge and action.
Meeting after the Conference at "Zahir Pajaziti" Square for the Campaign on World Osteoporosis Day, informing with resources from IOF and giving advice to ordinary citizens walking in the square.
