II Jornada de Innovación en Fracturas por Fragilidad

El objetivo principal de esta jornada, en la que celebramos el Día Mundial de la Osteoporosis, es dar a conocer abordajes innovadores para evitar la aparición de nuevas fracturas osteoporóticas, siendo el punto clave la prevención secundaria. Es importante dedicar esfuerzos a detectar, diagnosticar, tratar y manejar a las personas que más riesgo tienen de sufrir este tipo de fracturas. Se recalca el impacto social que conlleva, así como la morbimortalidad asociada a las fracturas.

Son unas jornadas gratuitas en formato presencial y videoconferencia, dirigido a todas las especialidades con interés en la temática de fracturas por fragilidad, multidisciplinares de gran interés científico con ponentes con larga experiencia clínica e investigadora de gran calidad.

The main objective of this conference, in which we celebrate World Osteoporosis Day, is to raise awareness of innovative approaches to preventing new osteoporotic fractures, with secondary prevention being the key point. It is important to devote efforts to detecting, diagnosing, treating, and managing people who are most at risk of suffering this type of fracture. The social impact of these fractures is emphasized, as well as the morbidity and mortality associated with them. These are free conferences in person and via videoconference, aimed at all specialties with an interest in the subject of fragility fractures. They are multidisciplinary conferences of great scientific interest with speakers who have extensive clinical experience and high-quality research.
