Developing Synergies in Bone Health

We are excited for the upcoming 1st International Conference on Bone & Mineral Diseases, a collaborative effort between the Bone & Mineral Disease Research Group at the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, AKU, and the Fragility Fracture Network-Pakistan (FFN-Pak). This exceptional event is in partnership with the Indus Health Network and Services Institute of Medical Science, Lahore, and is scheduled to take place at AKU on October 20th – 21st, 2023, coinciding with World Osteoporosis Day. Under the theme of 'Developing Synergies In Bone Health,' this conference represents a significant milestone in advancing our understanding of bone and mineral diseases. Our intention is to foster multidisciplinary collaboration, drawing expertise from various sections including Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Nursing Services. Moreover, this endeavor embraces the active involvement of Allied Health Professionals, enriching the depth and breadth of the discussions.
