October 20th is World Osteoporosis Day. Gelre Hospitals, in collaboration with the Osteoporosis Association, is organizing information sessions in Gelre Apeldoorn and Zutphen that week to highlight the importance of good bone health. Volunteers with lived experience will be available to listen to personal experiences, answer questions, and provide information about the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of osteoporosis, as well as the importance of strong bones for functioning well in daily life.
Patients and other interested parties can visit the Osteoporosis Association's information table at two different times and also take the weak bone test if they want to know the condition of their bones. This can be done in the central hall of:
