The Polish Society of Osteoarthrology, on the occasion of World Osteoporosis Day on October 20, 2025, has launched open access to the “Academy of Osteoporosis” on the international VuMedi platform.
The Academy of Osteoporosis is a video textbook in which Prof. Edward Czerwinski, MD, PhD, President, Polish Society of Osteoarthrology and Professor at the Jagiellonian University Medical College, shares his extensive knowledge and experience of over more than 30 years of treating patients with osteoporosis.
In a series of lectures, the Academy of Osteoporosis aims to present essential information for every physician involved in the daily management of osteoporosis. The content is based on up-to-date publications as well as insights from international and national scientific conferences. Across 12 lectures, it covers key aspects of diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of osteoporosis, totaling 365 minutes of lectures and over 558 slides.

During the first week after its launch, the Academy was visited by 436 participants, who collectively spent over 50 hours on the platform.
