World Osteoporosis Day is celebrated annually on October 20th to highlight the importance of musculoskeletal health and raise public awareness. Osteoporosis is a severe loss of bone density, leading to bones becoming more brittle. Osteoporosis, also known as bone loss, literally means spongy (porous) bone.
On this special day, we distributed informative brochures, held booths, and held awareness talks with participants to raise public awareness about osteoporosis, screening programs, and combat osteoporosis.
Let's not forget that to combat osteoporosis, a balanced diet, exercise, and exercise are essential for all genders and ages. All individuals over the age of 65 and those in any age group with risk factors should undergo bone scans. Treatment and exercise should be prescribed by a physician.
