World Patient Safety Day with recommendations on how to prevent falls in the Yaroslavl State Medical University, Russia
On World Patient Safety Day, which is celebrated worldwide on September 17, Yaroslavl State Medical University prepared an open lecture on the risk of falls and gave advice on how to prevent them. The educational action contained recommendations on osteoporosis prevention under the IOF WOD-24 slogan “Say “NO” to Fragile Bones”
It was delivered by Ksenia Belova, MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Public Health and Health Care at YSMU, Vice-President of the Russian Osteoporosis Association.
She made two presentations on this topic for medical workers and for patients, which were placed in free access in the official YSMU social network account in VK.
